Lump? Nipple? Puberty?

I have a nickel-sized lump almost as hard as a fresh lump of clay, under my nipple...Puberty related?... My parents know of it, I just turned 14. I started puberty at 12, my dad could help but I still haven't told him I started puberty, personally I think its funny, but if I told him he'd probably get pissed, because he isn't as "involved" in my life. They are wanted to get me checked out by the doctor soon. Please help so I can tell my mother, she atleast knows I started puberty. By The Way, my mother is a nurse and she thinks its a limp node, because of my VERY excessive coughing "streaks". The lump is only on my left nipple, not my right.

I think it is common for nipples to go hard at a point in puberty, but if theres a lump that size, its porbally best to get it checked out by the doctor.

right i had this problem and went to a doctor because i was scared i did not no what it was but do not worry all the doctor will tell you is tth it is a breast bud they are quite common manty people get them in puberty about 3/5 people get then ie lads but dnt worry it will soon go ti took about 6 months for mine to go i had it in both nipples i hoped this helped

it is nothing...I have one under my left nipple too...in health we learned that it is just something for puberty....but if you are really worried about it go to the doctor

ok listen up, its is 90 percent likely a sist, if u go to the doctor and they say they want to remove it, dont them otherwise you wont have a nipple anymore, but if it some type of thing that ABSOLUTELY needs removal ok...but other than that just let it go away by itself, mine did and im great. (takes 2-4 mothns to go away completely)

It is caused by a hormonal disbalance and basicly what it is, is a bulk of hormones and other 'stuck' chemicals in your body of course it can be something else but I hope for the best, so topic creator just go let it be checked for peace of mind and I had it for a fucking year >.<

I had that i still do but its not that big anymore maybe like little bit smaller than a dime.

I never had this problem but as far as I know, it is common. Something of that size though, you might want to get it checked out. Is it tender or painful to the touch?

Yes, it's normal, I have one on my right. It's staring to get smaller though.

i had one on my sholder lol and the doctor said that it was a fatty build up and now its gone away.
And also dont feel worried about telling them you started puberty they will find out soon whith like facial hair and stuff.

Well i was in the hospital(bone marrow transplant) and one day i notice my nipple had like a lump. I told my doctor they had a cat-scan and it was nothing,but lately i feel like it gotten bigger and harder. I think u should go see your doctor, I am next wednesday. Im not saying u have the same problem as me; I know were not the same,but better to be safe then sorry u know.. that's how i found out i got cancer by telling about what's going on in my body.LOL
