To all you hair bleachers:
How do I bleach my hair? :P I really want to do my bangs. ^_^
I'd like to know the risks and how long the bleach will last if that's possible as well. :) Thanks for anyone that replies.

Well I've always been too scared to do it myself, so I go to the hairdressers and get it done.
Once you bleach it, it won't fade because you're stripping your hair and removing color, and you won't be able to get the color back unless you add color on top of the bleach. Unless you add more color (like I said, bleaching isn't adding color, instead it's removing) the bleached hair will not change.
Just don't do what I did and bleach all of your hair everytime your roots come through when you need to re-touch it. Only do the roots. Seriously. I bleached my hair so much that my hair was breaking off, splitting and thinning out really bad. I went from having really thick hair to thin hair in the space of a year - I had bleached all my hair so so many times. My hair's okay now though, and a lot of the damage has grown out, but now I'm left with the top half of my hair being thick and the length being quite fine so I have to wait for the other half to grow out. Urghh I guess you learn from your mistakes. I'm just lucky my hair grows very fast and I have enough hair for it to be long. :/
Yeah, like I've just stressed out to you, NEVER NEVER NEVER bleach over the bleached hair unless you really need to. It almost cost me all of my hair.

hey ,,
Well i have bleached the living shit out of my hair tbh
but ide suggest you get it done at the hairdressers so if it go's wrong then you can get help about it striaght away
i currently have brown hair now though only becuase i thought it looked too slutty after a while
but it will last until you colour it out or cut it all of obviously you have to keep doing the roots
and always just have root touch-ups not doing your full head of hair
but this depends on the speed rate of your hairx

Thanks guys:)
To Marcie: prolly not the best thing you've done I'm guessing? But your hair still looks goregous! ^__^
And I don't really want to get it done by someone other than myself. O.o but I might end up going to q stylist. T_T thanks again! Much help. ;)

ive bleached my hair allot its one of the harshest things you can do to your hair but yeah just be careful about it its just like dyeing your hair with any other color it does burn a bit but its worth it bleaching doesnt fade it goes away with your when your hair grows out but for what you wanna do i would go to a hair dresser because idk how to explain how to do it even though ive done it for me its easier to show you how to do it then explain

if you have dark hair now its gonnna have to be in your hair for quite awhile.. and youll have to use a higher volume of developer. But you can go to "sallys" they sell lots of hair things for you to do at home. And all you need to buy is the bleach ( they come in preety big tubs, so youll have some to countinue bleaching) and creame devoloper 20 if your hairs light, 40 if its dark. And a brush to apply it. And all you need to do is mix those (equal parts). Im not sure how long youd need to leave in in your hair though :// but anyways hope i helpedd ^.^
