Well, I told the girl that I liked, that I liked her, and she said it was alright that I said it, but a bit odd. So, what do I do now?

Give her time to think about it. Try not to push her to much, as it could make her uncomfortable.
But congratulations man, one step ahead of me.

maybe you can try and get to know her a little bit =] (probably invite her to outings with friends so things so don't get awkward if you're shy =])

We are already good friends. I am pretty sure that we share some interests.

Try to go out with her and a group of friends, but not as like a date....
I think sometimes girls are more relaxed when with a group of friends.

I agree with Tyler^
The best way to get through to her is with her friends, and allowing them to mingle with you as if you have known them for a while - it then gives her a sense of comfort.
Good Luck

New update: She hasn't texted me since back since yesterday. I think I scared her off.

Don't worry its not the end of the world, this has happened to me plenty of times. She is most likely confused about what she feels now. You told her straight up so good job, you're much braver than i am, but i think that forced her to think about her feelings for you and shes confused. Give it time and don't pressure her.
Good Luck!

Well, I told her by text. Is that worse?

Thats probably bad, but still not the end of the world. Just put it down to experience, that certain things (things like this) need to be said in person. I've made this mistake too, i think when you read something like that you're always a little confused, but she'll come around, just be patient. When do you see her in person next?

Just hang out with her like normal, if she brings it up let her, but you don't have to. But if you do, do it in private so you don't put her on blast right in front of your friends. If she begins avoiding you, don't think its because she doesn't like you, it may have been just the timing because she might not have been expecting it. Odds are she feels the same way about you but she was just surprised that you felt the same way she did and now shes confused.

That helps, but we only have 1 class together, and we can't possibly talk because it is band. I will do my best to make her mine *Puts on plotting suit, makes evil laughter*.
