What is more obvious an arm full of scars/cuts (that aren't to, to red), or an arm full of bracelets that goes up to your elbows? Because that's all the choices I got. DX

I always go for the bracelets or long sleeves etc. Because then people can never be positive why you've got that on so won't necessarily work out that you self harm you could just have a weird obsession with bracelets. But then again I'm ashamed if you're not ashamed don't bother, sorry if I've been no help at all.

Long sleeves are the best bet. If you don't want to wear long sleeves then I'd go with the bracelets.. it's likely people will see your scars if you don't cover them. You could pretend they're not there, if you're not really bothered. But you are bothered, seeing as you make this thread...
I dunno If this helped :P

Go for the bracelets, its easier to make up a reason why your wearing lots of bracelets than it is to why you've got an arm full of scars
But go for whatever your most comfortable with, thats just my opinion

It depends on how comfortable you are with showing your scars. One day I realized I wasn't going to let my mistakes hold me back from something so simple like showing my arm. If anybody asks (happens occasionally) I say "none of your business" and they stop questioning it.
Bracelets & long sleeves work too, if you dont mind it much. But that is safer if you still aren't comfortable, because no one will really think about it.

Easier said than done. If you have nothing of use to post then don't do it.
I'd go for the long sleeves, but it all depends on what you're like personally. Would people notice that you randomly just start wearing long sleeved shirts when you haven't before? And the same with Bracelets.

Whatever your most comfortable with. But supposing you made this thread you don't like people seeing your scars.
Long sleeves are always less obvious than hundreds of bracelets IMO. So I'd go with that. (:

I'd go for longsleeves if I were you. That's most natural. (:
But do what feels best for you!

long sleeves are prob your best bet. just say that youre cold and wear a sweater/sweatshirt. thats the least obvious followed by bracelets yolu can just say you felt like wearing jewlery if you dont normally wear any. cuts/scars can be very obvious (especially in the cold). best of luck

Yeah, long sleeves are less obvious. I wear long sleeves almost 24/7. However, I was wearing short sleeves with a sweet shirt when I posted this, and was sweeting and I felt terrible. I ended up wearing the bracelets up to my elbows. People didn't ask which was good. However I only allowed myself to go without the sweatshirt for a small period of time, because I was paranoid. It was more of a you dug your grave now deal with the consquences of feeling miserable sort of feeling.

A friend of mine used to wear some sort of " long dress" with long sleeves and something i used to call "neck belt" (it was much like a belt, but in her neck). She was a wierd girl (like most of my friends) and anime fan, so no one really asked, but she looked quite elegant all the time. Have you tried that? dressing with a light dress with long sleeves? it makes you look more elegant, and if someone asks you can always say you got a new job. :)

To tell you the truth, I think having nothing on your arms and acting casual is less obvious. Long-sleeve shirts are fine but not year-round. People notice that I always wear short-sleeves even in winter and they say something about that. Then I have to explain to them that I love the cold. I can't imagine that they wouldn't notice when you were wearing long-sleeves in summer. I always used to wear arm warmers to cover my scars. And when people started realising that I wore them to hide the scars, they noticed every day I wore them and assumed I had cut the other night. But now that I go without them, no one says a word about my scars, even while I was still in school. It might be different for me, but not everyone noticed them. No one ever accused me of self-harming. Again, my situation might be weird or something :P

Yeah. Wearing an arm full of bracelet's could draw attention.
I would go for long sleeves, but maybe accesorise with bracelets and make it interesting.
Bracelet's are just eye catching, especially when they go right from your wrist, right to your elbow lol.
Good luck hun ;)
