Do girls like chest hair?

I have a lot of chest hair... And I fear that it might disappoint a girl!
Im 17 and am in a relationship that didnt go well after the night we slept together... I have a feeling that my chest hair repelled her off me!
So, what shud i do?
Shave it? Trim it? Or leave as it is?

i think it depends on the girl :}
but i personally prefer when its trimmed down abit
