Is it normal that sometimes if im horny and i get a boner I will sometimes start to get precum even before I start to j/o. Like I'll get a boner and be horny and it just starts even before I do anything. Does this happen to other guys?

P.S. I didn't know the word for precum until I joined this site so thanks lol

This is very normal and happens to many other guys. Some don't, some produce more, some produce less, some on this site haven't started cuz they're teens, etc.

The precum comes out even before you have sex for a reason. And, I said sex, not j/o, for a reason. When your body's aroused, especially super aroused and you produce precum, it thinks it's gonna have sex (not j/o).

So the precum seeps out to clean the urethra (the tube that the semen and urine travel through). The reason it needs to be cleaned is because leftover pee inside the urethra can kill sperm, and that reduces the chance of conception (which happens during sex).

Yes - biological systems are made very intelligently. Usually, they do more than one thing. Precum has a few functions - two being lubrication and neutralizing urine.
