I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if it sounds like there is something wrong with me. Basically I just haven't been eating much lately I will eat about half of my evening meal and that is all. This isn't because i have an obsession with my weight or anything it's just I never feel hungry and I don't really want to eat any food the idea makes me feel sick. I skip breakfast, throw my lunch away and don't snack on anything, even the sight of food makes me feel physically ill :/
Is this ok?

eating half a meal a day is no where near enough. If it's because you just never feel hungry, it doesn't sound like an eating disorder, because eating disorders are mental illnesses, and the person wants to lose weight and hates the idea of gaining weight. However, a loss of appetite is a sign of depression. I suggest that you don't just dismiss it as though it's nothing, because half a meal is probably about 300-400 calories.

Maybe you should try and get help for this. See a doctor about it, and say that you've completely lost your appetite, and food makes you feel ill. Leaving it will cause you to lose a lot of weight, which could lead to health problems. Good luck :)

I agree with Georgia, it doesn't sound like an eating disorder but it doesn't sound like nothing either.
Half a meal is about 200 calories when you should be eating about 2000.

Thanks for the help, I didn't think I had an eating disorder but I wasn't sure. Maybe it is to do with depression I'm not sure? I'll think about asking a doctor.

Yeah, if you're not like obsessed with your weight, think you're fat and such, then it doesn't sound like an eating disorder.

But YES indeed, it can have with depression to do. Cause depression often cause loss of apetite and such..

Hope it'll get better soon though!

No it is not good if you do not eat then your matabolism will slow down, you will get sicker and bigger...not good try to find a healthy diet
