It could be an unassociated issue, get to your doctor asap so he can diagnose it. Your period symptoms could be irregular cause of your inconsistent pill usage, so just check if it actually cramping or something else.

hope its all ok :/

You could just be late. Or the stress of worrying could have delayed it. Don't jump to conclusions, but if you're really worried you should see your GP.

You should definitely see your doctor about it sometimes periods can become irregular while on birth control.

I`d make an appoitment with your gyno. Like Colour Fadeout said, it could just very well be because of the inconsistant pill usage.

And just like clorathehobbit said, try not to stress. You`d be supprised just how long you and delay your cycle by stressing. I was in the same situation last year, by stressing so much it delayed my cycle for over a month.

When you`re on birth control, its very important to stick to 'stick to the scedule'. Otherwise pregnancies become a very possible thing.
Personally, I`ve never been on the pill. I`m to much of a forgetful person.
I was on the DEPO birth control shot for a year, but wound up putting on 25lbs in the process.

I recently got Implanon, a birth control that is implanted into your arm, and I coulden`t be happier =]

Aviane is the best, or you can get the non hormonal IUD. It's something that is inserted inside of the uterus and is kept in there from 5-10 years and it's wonderful. No forgetting to take any pills ever

I considered Aviane before going with implanion. While it does last longer, the possible side effects toattly detered me. I`ve heard stories of it getting imbetted in the uterus wall, causing ovarian cysts, not the mention how painful insertion has to be. OUCH!

Implanon might sound a bit strange, and I was honestly a bit nerveous of the procedure, but I actually wound up laughing about it. They simply gave me a shot in my arm to numb the area. the implant itself was in a needle, which they then stuck into my arm,and pushed it in. I didn`t feel a thing. A bit of a sting for the shot, and some soreness the next day, but that was it =] Implanon is good for 3 years, and my insurance covered all the costs, including my follow up visit.
Implanon has all possible side effects like most birth controls, as well as the possibility of a tiny scar from the insertion area.
I also find it fun to creep my friends out and ask them to rub my arm, and they can feel the implant.

I take the pill of Aviane, every case is different. I don't have any problems =]

But i'm considering the Mirena IUD because it's easier
