Little white spots on the glans/head of the penis sound worrying. It's not necessarily normal. Try to wash them off in the shower or a warm bath, don't use soap if you can help it. It might just be hard smegma stuck on so you might have to rub it quite hard to get it off, which might hurt but it's worth it. If it doesn't come off, go to a doctor as it could be infected.

You can get circumcision, I think health care in Tasmania costs so it might not be cheap for your parents. good luck convincing them. Be glad you have a foreskin, it's natural and lots of guys who are circumcised/need to have one would love the ability to comfortably retract but also have the warmth and protection that comes from having an intact foreskin. If there's no reason to cut it other than "it's ugly" I'd wait out a few years til you're adult and you've sat on the decision a bit, even then circumcision for cosmetic reasons is silly. Circumcision also results in a few weeks of pain and the lack of ability to masturbate after the op.

Don't be too worried. What you are describing is quite normal. Do a search for Fordyce's spots.

I really recommend that you don't have your foreskin removed. You will really miss it later.

Actually, no. What he's describing could well be pearly penile papules, but Fordyce's spots appear on the shaft. Either way it's worth getting it checked out. Pearly penile papules can be removed with laser surgery I think but they pose no real threat and circumcision won't help it.

You may be right but I think that it would be better to direct the poor guy towards some basic search information rather than scare him with the infection and doctor scenario.

Agree with you on the circumcision - it's not going to help either of these, or anything really.

Well first of all make sure you are regularly retracting your foreskin and cleaning around the head of your penis to be sure its not dried up semen or smegma. It could be pearly penile papules, as Jon said, but its not that uncommon for guys to get white spots around or under the corona (rim) and its unlikely to be anything to worry about. I had them for a while but they went away of their own accord.

Do what nick said first, then after a while, see a doctor.

I just google searched the little white bumps around the rim. (I know not the best source)

Apparently it is normal, and not that uncommon. It usually occurs in uncut guys. It could however be dangerous if you are sexually active, or more of a pinky-color. But from the sound of just the white dots, nothing to worry about.

Dont know anything about the white spots but the other guys seem to know what theyre talking about so i'd listen to them. But Ive seen plenty foreskins, some are longer or "fleshier" than others, but theyre all similar and I guess yours wont be any different from bilions of others and other guys at school if you got to see them. And its possible that most other guys have foreskins. So I wouldnt be in any hurry to have your foreskin cut off cos it might turn out to be for no good reason.
