Well, I'm addicted to this game. It's the most fun RTS there is, at least to me. I was wondering if anyone else here plays it, and if so, how heavily? Are you just casual, or do you go as far as to watch things like the GSL (the big Korean pro-gaming league for SC2) like me?

Either way, how many of you play it? Also, what league are you in 1v1, what's your main race, and what server do you play on? :P I'm in Diamond 1v1, with about 1650 points, and my main race for 1v1 is Protoss. I'm also fairly good at Zerg, but I'm by far worst at Terran. I'm on the NA server.

Anyways, anyone else here? :D

I couldn't get in to it. I've played better strategy games, Company of Heroes and the Total War Games, AoEIII, and Civ games. I just can't get into to SII. The way you make units is just annoying.

It's rather similar to COH and AOE when you're playing as Terran.

I'm sure it's amazing and I even bought it and all!... just have yet to open it. So damn busy, and frankly I'm not sure I really have the patience to learn new RTSs any more (similar though it may be to SC). At least not during school... maybe this summer before I start work.

It's pretty flair-y, with all the new graphics installed, but basically it's still Starcraft on awesome. Although my PC cannot handle its effects, I'm still up to it.

Really, the economy works exactly the same as in SC:BW with a few small changes (MULEs for Terran, chronoboost for Protoss, and larva injects for Zerg), and the biggest changes are in the units. It's worth playing when you do get the time, even if you don't play it online.)

That is true, but the graphics are insanely good if on ultra compared to SC1, the control groups are much better (no longer 12 units, but now unlimited, SO useful when using zerglings/banelings), a lot of new units, and the new laddering system does help a lot (so I don't get pros or complete noobs when I play, I get people around my skill level.)

I mean, c'mon, look at this:

Doesn't it look awesome? :P
