GovTeen has a 25,000 face but it's pretty lame (compared to their custom faces). We currently do not have one and have no need for one in a long time. Also, heaven forbid someone actually wastes that much time, to accumulate 25,000 posts.

The original faces were the "new" thru 2.5k. The 5k we made for VT is the second newest face (besides the 10k that we use).
GovTeen starts custom faces at 5k and I think we should do that. Starting at 2.5k is low. Just not feeling it.

Plus 2.5k is a fairly easy number to obtain. Look at all the people who've joined in mid to late 2010 and they already have 1k.

Yeah, it's more than a little high. I've been here for almost five years. The site's been running for about seven. If we make it 10k you're telling me that I, of all people, shouldn't be allowed a custom face?

Since custom faces are there for variety, I think that 10K+ for that privilege is high because then there'd be like 1 to 3 people who decide to have a face. 2.5k would be too many, too often, "give up now".

5k shows incredible dedication and time spent on the site while not being unheard of like 10k. Also, the 5k title is quite fitting to having a custom face, isn't it? "Legendary Member" - legendary face.
