So, now that this year's Winter Classic is done, it's time (or maybe a bit early :P) to speculate a few things.
1) Where do you think next year's will be/should be played?
2) What teams will/should play?
3) Should the NHL choose to play it in the primetime slot again?
Personally, I've been waiting for a while to see a Rangers vs. Islanders game at Yankee Stadium, I think it would be a really nice game. A Winter Classic in Minnesota would be pretty awesome to.
Discuss.

As much as i would want to see it i think the NHL is going to wait until both teams are good enough that other people besides fans of the respective teams are going to watch. I can't really think of any decent matchups though without using teams that have already played in the WC. How about Ducks Kings? :P

Maybe the Kings but I don't think the Ducks would be able to support a WC. Besides, it's never winter in So-Cal :P

Totally spaced out on the fact that both teams are in Cali.. lol. Umm, yeah I'm no good at this haha. Islanders Rangers would be sick though. I could see something involving the Avs happening.

Yeah, Colorado would be a nice place for a WC. But knowing Bettman, the 2012 NHL Winter Classic will probably be Penguins vs. [insert lovechild team here] at [insert Pittsburgh venue here].
