Breaking account securities is usually considered illegal in most cases and countries, as you're basically attacking the privacy of someone else (being an individual or a society).

If you feel threatened by someone else through Internet, you can always:
- block him (remove it from your contacts, blacklist his email address, etc);
- report the case to the website administrators (social network sites all have rules of proper behavior and have to follow the law, and usually ban users not conforming to them);
- report the case to the police - most countries have a division specialized in cyber-criminality.

Unless you are a legitimate security expert, you have zero legal reason to want to break a facebook or email account. And I doubt legitimate security experts would ask that kind of things on VT :).
