Does anybody know a program like a studio so you can layer recordings, like As in... Recording guitar, then recording drums, then layering it so it plays at once like a song??

Google audacity, download it, record all your sounds, then lay them over each other, download the thingy to export/import as mp3, export as mp3, voila, you just recorded and edited your own song and saved it in a compressed format.

Audacity is good for editing music and the likes but for loop based music creation i recommend Acid or Fruity Loops.
All three will work for you though.

if you recording this all separate or if you are importing audio files to do this with or if you are looking for a program with built in files i suggest three different programs. the first is garage band ive heard its not the best but it does most everything you want it to it has its own tracks and the ability to add in more. ntracks is another program, ive not used it much but i do not believe that it has its own tracks in there for use. the third program the one i use the most for recording mixing and editing for the bands that i work for is Adobe Audition. it has its own tracks for use and the ability to import files. and i guess a 4th one if you have the money would be pro-tools but you need to buy the hardware for it to operate. some of the program requirements reside only in the hardware which can in its self get rather spendy

If you have the money you have to get the new Boss RC2 looper pedal...great little new item..im getting one next month for my B-day.
As for using computer to do it....i just record with audacity and then put them onto my MP3 playing and then play them back and overdub with it ....you need a mixer and MP3 to do that though.
the best way to do this is with the Boss looper pedal...
the RC2 has just about everything that more expensive Boss RC20XL has...i think the reverse loop is the only thing thats not in it.

Well what I'm really looking for is..., well I'm trying to be creative, so you know I've been recording and editing shit on that stupid "Sound Recorder" program on my computer, and I want to play alll these things under eachother and stuff so you know. What I'm really trying to do is make a Track like the song Revolution 9 by The Beatles
