Hello

Looking for some advise, I have been going to the gym for the last 6 months but as it is a new year I really want to push on. As like everyone I would love to have a 6 pack  I have the outline just but you have to look hard lol.

Here are some information that you might need to know:

Age 21

Weight 12st 1lb = 77 KGS

Height 6 foot 3 inches = 1.83 m

BMI 23.0

BODY FAT 14.1 %

BODY FAT MASS 11.0 KGS

I go to the gym 3 –4 times a week and have only notices small differences since I have joined.

Is this because of my diet?

I also play football ( soccer ) 2 times a week as well.

Should I also drink protein shakes after I have been to the gym will this help me?

Any advise will be great!

I think seeing abs is largely about how much fat you have covering the muscles. Some young kids will show some abs with no effort. I have always had pretty good abs mainly from being skinny in the past but now i am doing quite a lot of rowing and swimming which is helping give me more definition all over.

I honestly think most people will get better abs quicker by first doing cardio / fat burning workouts than weights and crunches and stuff. I don't understand the % well enough to know if what you say is good so you may be there already of course.

Protein is huge! you must be having enough to build that muscle mass. Also I belive it is 10% body fat for it to really show the abs not fosho
