There was a lot of big technical words and I pretty much tuned out everything the characters said.

The visuals were amazing, though. Loved the stick-to-LightBike transformation.

Aaand the lead actor was hot.

I liked Tron Legacy, the 3d was rather good.

I haven't seen the first Tron but would be interested in seeing now, to connect the story.

Why would you leave the film after 20 minutes, before the protaganist even gets into the Grid after spending like 10 Euros for the cinema ticket, popcorn etc.

Legacy was cool with cool effects, sure. But my only "beef" is that it had 2D even in 3D. They even told the audience right from the get-go. I thought the 3D was pretty lame but everything else, epic. Daft Punk + Olivia Wilde = Jizztastic movie.

I noticed that too, every scene outside of the Grid was in 2d, although overall I found the 3d effects to be addequate.

That was the idea!! when in the grid it was 3D in the real world it was not.

I saw it with my mother and wife, keeping our tradition on Christmas day (and indeed was the day after this year, but close enough). It was great! I love Avatar, but I think considering the creation of Tron is the best 3D movie I have ever seen. 3D is very subtle and well done! As a man fartsy visual art, I loved the Disney logo and credits and so on. I thought the sound was amazing too. I remember parts of the original and old take me more or less, but too many to head to remember details. I liked Jeff Bridges perform some of these connections, however, and always offers.

Ooooh now that I think about it, that does make sense SamB. I guess I was blinded by Daft Punk that I forgot to appreciate everything else. lol

The film is entertaining enough, but probably not the action does not stop some people are hoping / expecting. If you're looking to kill a couple of hours watching something that is visually appealing (but at the same time, can give you a headache / eye pain due to 3D) and "Tron: Legacy 'is the penalty check. Fans of the original may or may not like this movie, I'm not sure, but I know that for someone like me - who is being introduced to the world of "Tron" for the first time - was quite something. The film is excellent - after after the start we got a little bored and Sam are transported within the grid. cycles of light, light runners, all modes of "Light" action.Another exciting transportation for "more" of this movie is its score excellent.
