My mother always tells people that I was 'born in the saddle.'
I grew up around horses, and was competeing in barrel racing and poles by age 6. Only when I was 10, I decided to take a major turn into english riding.
Jumping(show) is my biggest passion. Granted, I still compete in dressage, but the thrill for me is all in the jumping.
Right now, I`m jumping a TB gelding 4ft at home, and 3'9 at shows, and he`s doing wonderfully. I`m also in the process of training my trainer`s 4yr old dutch warmblood to jump, and my own arabian to jump.
Show season, so far, had been horrible. It seems like the rain just won`t stop long enough to get a nice show, or even lesson in.
So, anyone else a fellow rider?
