Ways to prevent/ get rid of scars?

Does anyone have any tried & proven methods to prevent, lighten, or get rid of scars completely? Especially darker ones? Thank you :)

Bio oil or cocoa butter, ive only tried cocoa butter tho and it really helped to lighten dark ones and get rid of light ones (:

Makeup to cover them. Foundation especially.

Bio-oil is a good way to make them heal quicker, it fades them a lot quicker than if you left it to naturally heal itself.

Some foundation and/or concealer can be a quick cover-up.
Sleeves/jeans/bracelets to hide it physically.
Or you can get scar cream from the drugstore, there's loads of different brands.

She did ask for solutions for scars, not cuts. She may not even do it anymore.

It's not wise to use make-up because depending on your skin, it can make things scar worse in the end.
More or less anything with vitamin E in is works somewhat, so generally things like after sun can also be helpful.
Bio-oil which has already been mentioned is probably the best for darker scars.

i havnt tried it my self and im not my self apperntly if i read it proply the wiccans use some thing a herb of sorts not sure if it works like sure u could look it up

Prevent: Don't do it
Coverup: bio oil can work, and make up. pretty much what everyone else has suggested.
