Yep, I'm one of the people from the Pop-Punk Party Scene. :DD. I like ATL because of the lyrics and poppish beat. It just makes the whole world disappear for a while. [: That's when you know that a band's good. My favorite member...even though They're all amazing. Zack Merrick, Alex Gaskarth, Jack Barakat and Rian Dawson... Is probably Jack. He's a sexy beast with a raunchy sense of humor. ;D

Who's your favorite band and member?

Pink Floyd is my favorite band.

Roger Waters is my favorite member. I mean, Glimour's an amazing artist too, but Waters crafted Pink Floyd's greatest albums.

inb4 someone comments on how much I like Pink Floyd

All Time Low is pretty good, but not my favorite.

Rise Against is my favorite. Tim McIlrath is my favorite member. He's been there since the beginning, along with Joe and Brandon, but his lyrics make him amazing. His voice is just as amazing as his lyrics, and on top of that, he's a great guitarist (even though through Rise Against's music, you can't really say that). If it wasn't for Rise Against, I probably wouldn't be here (true story).

I am a big fan of most of those bands, although I think All Time Low sounded a little too mainstream in nothing personal.
and I hate it when people bash on these bands.

And you go listen to some real music - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geeXiwRH1lA

What real music in my book means is that whoever makes the music should at least tries to reach a new level of audible art.

Improvising, innovating, experimenting, follow new style and methods and whatever out of the norm is real music.

Real music may or may not have singing. But preferred not to have singing. Since I am fond of the "let the instruments do the singing" policy.

Real music is done through collaborative work and hard work and patience.

Real music does not have to follow the rules(themes, instruments and etc), but rather makes it own rules whenever it is played, because then it has broke free from the bounds, it is then it becomes genuine music - and music as a form of art.

That's what real music is, to me, anyway.

come on now try to enjoy all genres of music, except country I'll pretend that genre never existed. I know Post-Hardcore isn't for everyone.

You obviously don't understand music and its complexity.

Whether you like it or not, that genre does exist. And that's a very bland thought to just criticize the whole country genre, because that means you hate every sub-genre of it too. You probably haven't heard most of those sub genre's. The fact you said enjoy all genre's except country is not only hypocritical, but a choice of matter you decide. You don't get to decide what music is and isn't - especially if you don't think that Throbbing Gristle is music.

whoa whoa whoa it was to my understanding that music had to have rhythm the link that was posted only had a random event of sounds I heard no rhythm, but I have listen to some other songs by Throbbing Gristle and I think its fair to say they were not for everybody.

I hate it when people try to make music complex because it isn't, its quite simple. When you take music and try to make something that it isn't then it becomes complicated.

Not all music is meant to be simple. If it were, then there would be no need for Avant Garde and Dada movements. All of it would of been for nothing. I fmusic was simply to the point with its message, then what would really make it an interesting piece of art? It's the music that has multiple meanings that really paints a good canvas.

Music doesn't need rhythm. Also, noise IS music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8nfXIuwnvQ). Music is for everybody. There's not certain parts of it that are meant to not fit other people; all forms of music should be explored and understood.

SZazYFchLRI

Avant Garde classical artist Iannis Xenakis made scores that weren't meant to fit with other needs, but create an atmospheric power to the music. The music is meant to feel subliminal. It is in this where you see that music doesn't need lyrics to sing it's feeling or emotion. You want an example of complex music? Listen to that. Or try to understand some of John Cage's works.

Also, stop double posting please.

Two favourite bands.

Paramore and my fave member is either Hayley or Jeremy.

Bring Me The Horizon and Oli of course, because he's just so darn sexy.
