Masturbating a lot won't cause any physical issue outside some soreness. As long as it doesn't prevent you to live your life, there is nothing wrong with that.

And no, it is not normal that you are 9" erect - the average adult size is somewhere in the 5-6 range. You quite certainly made a mistake when measuring, and read the "6" on the ruler as a "9" :p.
