I want a great phone. One that's especially good for FACEBOOK, TUMBLR, TEXTING.

It can be also good for taking pictures. And has a medium-large screen.

Any suggestions? (Try to keep it away from the "expensive zone")

Well my first thought was the iphone but they are quite pricey so i would go for a blackberry (even though i hate them)

Yet an iPhone 3G would only be $100. Many other smart phones are at least that or more.

I'd say look at an iPhone or an LG Backflip. They look nice and can do the things you asked

Anything running on Android 2.2+ is a great buy.
Don't believe me? Watch me play a Playstation game, or perhaps Pokemon on my phone, while listening to Pandora radio, and texting, and when I think of something witty, posting a status on facebook.
Did I mention doing all of that at the same time?

The newest one's in the "expensive zone" though, so I'd say go for an iPhone 3G

The iPhone 4 has a great camera with LED flash, the new retina display, and has alll the apps, including facebook. And what there isnt an app for, you can go to the website instead :)

Switched from an iPhone 3G to the Droid X this Christmas, will never turn back.
3G has a 3MP Camera, no video recording (unless jailbroken).
Droid X has an 8MP Camera, HD Video Recording (720p) with more powerful applications, such as a Gameboy emulator (play gameboy games.)
It also has a wireless hotspot feature which is EXTREMELY useful.
All of those features are basically on any phone running Android.

You guys are getting everything mixed up. Its the iPhone 3Gs for 50 bucks now. NOT THE 3G. That's been discontinued for a while now.

And the Motorola DroiD 2 is an awesome phone. Its does everything that I need. But if you want a chdaper phone, I would go for a blackberry or a standard phone with internet access. A lot of phones are going on sale so you would be able to find something.
