It's just so frustrating, I'm sitting here in my room nautious with a horrible headache because the fumes from my brother smoking weed are leaking into my room.
It's depressing he's addicted to weed for quite some time now. In my opinion weed is something you do with a group of friends at a party not something you do to feel better about yourself.. :/ people who do weed for that purpose are low lives with no friends. :/ and my brother isn't like that at all.. I don't know what to do, I can't just talk to him nothing would happen about it.
It angers me
It annoys me
It saddens me ...

Most people that smoke weed won't stop because someone tells them to, so I understand your situation. You could try and talk to him, that's about all. According to you, he uses it as an escape. Do you what he tries to escape from? Try finding out exactly why he smokes and work up from there.

I think he does do it with friends but honestly idk. He's 22 not a kid he should at least know by now. I'll prob talk to him when he goes back to college.
But again I have no clue where I'd start.
I feel so sick now just smelling it.. It's so gross.
I'm not saying i pledge to be drug free, but I deff won't become an addict and only do it occasionally with friends.
It's suppose to have some health benefits. But it puts something like 10x more tartar in your lungs than ciggs do and a bunch of other shit :/

just try and negotiate something with him. maybe you could do some stuff in return or something? but getting a high on is something he prolly needs because it makes him feel good.

It's a hard one to deal with. Smoking weed constantly does change a person, one of my friends is now quite dependent on weed and smokes it constantly (he's an ass when he's high). Just try and get out of the house right now, but try talking to him....

My bro used to smoke weed. He had to go to rehabe by order of court. Gone for 7 months. His life was ruined, if he would have stoped sooner my famaly wouldn't have been ruined. Whilst I agree with your post to the first guy I think it's unfair to attack the second person. You don't necessarily know the ins and outs of his family's situation. He's saying weed ruined his family, perhaps it did.

Personally, i think you cant go to anyone but your brother about his problem. The least you can do is ask him to stop smoking it around you as its stinking you out.
And to the people saying things about never trying it, and ew its gross.. whatever was said, you cant tell what you will be into later in life.
My views on weed have changed from when i was younger, i always thought of it as bad.. a no go zone, then after i tried it i came to respect it and yeah, its up to the person if they wish to take it.

But, yea.. it smells, its not a smell everyone likes, first smell i hated it, but you can get use to it.

And uh.. i feel like im jumping all over the place, but how do your parents not do anything about it? If you can smell it in ur room, im sure they must have some idea..?

Sorry mate but I can see why hes sticking up for weed because I am a user of it and it is NOT worse for you than smoking fags, fags put tar rat poison and all sorts of chemicals into your lungs the only thing weed puts into your system is THC and you become high. Weed doesnt make you paranoid if you use it when your with friends just chilling and having a good time. Barely messes with your memory ive been smoking it for nearly two years and it hasnt done a single thing to my memory wheres your proof ? and before someone claims weed can kill you or bullshit like that there has never been a death recorded because of weed ;)

Oh and to the OP, if what your brother is doing is such a problem to you, talk to him about it and tell him how you feel about it, hope it works out for ya :)
