Anyone here play drums?

I see a lot of people talking about guitar, however I was wondering if anyone else besides me was a drummer?

I've been playing for quite some time, and it's really fun for those still deciding what instrument to play, and guitar is soooo over done in my book, meaning so many people play it it's kind of getting old. =/

I haven't had any lessons for playing drums, and I don't have a drum set in my room or someting but when I see drums I play them and I play them good, I have a good music ear.

Yes, all those kids playing "Hey There Delilah" calling themselves guitarists. If you ask me, guitar is probably the most complex instrument. However, all the lazy asses in the world just decide to do the easy thing and play stuff that takes little practice. I'm not saying I'm not one of those. I enjoy playing simple stuff, but at the same time, I'm still practicing all the complex things that make guitar an amazing instrument.

Been playing for 6 years now. Pretty good at it, not the best, but not the worst. I'm starting to foray into small one to two minute solos, but I have trouble keeping a steady beat.

Two of my best friends do and it's annoying to hear them talk about it with each other. All I hear is, "herp de derp drums. herp de derp Paiste. herp de derp tom heads. herp de derp Zildijan. Herp de derp (I forgot the drum head name)." :P

I like fucking around on the drums when I'm at my friend's house. It's fun.

I find the drums to be a kickass instrument, definitely the most fun and tiring out of all of them. I'd love to learn, but I have no space in my house and I've already taken up guitar.

I do play the drums, they were my first but not my main instrument. I'm a songwriter first and a musician second so for me, the guitar is a much more appropriate instrument even though I'm actually better at drums. It does create tension in my band too, since as both the singer-songwriter and a drummer I tend to boss my drummer around a bit which gets on his nerves. :P
