Hello VT, I was curious as whether or not my fellow members shared Tourette Syndrome with me? It would be cool to hear from others with the disorder, whether it be sharing experiences, methods to keep them down, confort/discomfort with it, etc.
So yeah, please share your experiences with Tourettes, whether you have them or not. :)
Happy new year all. :D

Is it strictly a mental disorder or is it physical as well? I wouldn't really know.
Idranktheseawater on youtube has Tourettes! However, it's one of the few things I don't have :P

Tourettes is a neurological disorder, so It's mental :)
I don't personally have tourettes, but my little sister does :) Hers is pretty mild, but she still struggles a lot with it.

I could have it, there is a big possibility.
The doctor's cant tell because I also have ADHD, so they find it hard to diagnose me, stupid retards lol.

Poor girl. Hope they don't make fun of her at school or anything. You can let her know that another kid with Tourettes says there is nothing to be ashamed of.
=-)

ADD, Tourettes, and OCD normally come together. If you have one, you are more likely to have two or all of the disorders. Haha I think that's why it is hard to diagnose, but I can't say for certain. Maybe they are stupid. :D

It is mental as it is in the brain, but there are physical symptoms as well. (I.E. shaking, nodding, tensing of the muscles, the list goes on and on.)
