It depends partly on how old you are. Most boys should be able to fully retract their foreskin by around 14 or 15, many will be able to much earlier than that. If yours is tight you should try stretching it by easing it back gently once a day when you take a bath or shower. Just little by little. That will work for most guys. If you still have trouble you should check with your doctor who might prescribe a steroid cream to help it along.

i agree with the above.
all boys develop differently, after some gentle stretching exercises it should become looser.

Getting halfway over isn't too bad at all, 5 minute stretching (not until it hurts) everyday will sort that out soon enough

dude----dont mess with it. go to the doctor. i had the same exact thing when i was 14. it use to hurt the hell at times. i ended up getting circumcised. i know that sounds like it would hurt like shit but the procedure didnt hurt at all. the week that followed is a different story but i made it and now pain free. u might not need a circumcision but i'd go to the doc before i would start pulling and tearing.

Last year, I was in a similar situation that you're in. I couldn't retract my foreskin at all! I was getting really worried. I was reading up online and I read comments saying "get circumcised" - yeah, don't!
To resolve my problem, I just gently stretched it whenever I had time.. within a month of gentle stretching I was able to fully retract my foreskin. So, just do some stretches.

Hi, Brandon. According to your description, It sounds to me like you have Phimosis.
Phimosis is a name given to the condition where the foreskin is unretractable. I recommend you to visit your local medical professional.

Just do little strecthing work outs and eventually overtime it will begin to retract. I know cause my friend went to the doctor for that very reason only in severe cases people are circumcised.
