So I am 18yrs and 159lbs. I take in about 2800cals. every day and I am a very healthy eater. I have been trying to gain weight for years. The most I have gained is 3lbs and that was over a time of 6 months. I am trying to get up to at least 180lbs. I am a very active person and that also makes it a little harder for me to gain weight but the small amount of weight that I do gain is normally turned into muscle.
So can you guys give me any suggestions on gaining weight?

Muscle is probs a good way of gaining weight it still makes people apear broader aswell

well if you look at my pictures I am not really that "broad" and that is what I am going for. I am also up for getting a larger waist line.

Muscle weighs more then Fat so means you gain weight faster so what body builders do is they drop the healty eating way for a few weeks so to get to about in ur case 173 lb and then a vigarous weights routine to turn the fat to muscle and that would make you about 187lb
