==================
I don't need to talk about his art. He is famous for many of his artistic ideas. From paintings, sculptures, interior designs(even guitar design :thumbsup: ) and etc.
He is notable for many works, specially his work on the movie Alien(which is why the movie is that memorable), and many other postmodern-futuristic and neo-minimalistic work of art.

Even though a surreal artist. I see his art as posthumanistic and transhumanistic, and of course a pinch of aeonian post-futuristic elements in them.
Buildings and environment that what resembles human and animal skeleton or organo-metallic(Or Bio-mechanical as Giger have said) conglomerate - made from elements that is unknown to human. World and landscapes that are beyond the scope of normality - almost a hellish altern. universes.

Oh, however convincing it may be. Giger never used Digital art. They look like conceived from a tablet and using photoshop - but no, they are all either oil or acrylic paintings.

As inker and comic artist: André Franquin - I've never seen better inking than his.
As a painter: Rembrandt. Impressive mastering not only of painting, but also of other drawing techniques. Also a master at scene composition.
Honorable mention: Dali. Not only I like his painting style and skills, but I moreover appreciate his cynism and his humor.
