Im about to go mad, help me please!! seriously -_-

Im not sure if this is where my post goes but whatever, so i got a 64GB Ipad for x-mas and i've downloaded MP4 music sucessfully now the problem for me is downloading MP4 movies. You see, i downloaded a already converted movie onto my computer but it wont even add to my Itunes(File>add file to playlist) no matter how i do it Itunes just acts as if i didnt just ask it to add the bloody file. I've been rummaging through internet forums and searched youtube and nothing. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!

the file isnt supported it needs to be converted to the correct type for this i use real player for it it coverts to all sorts of types ipod ipad blackberry ect

I like to use Handbrake. On the side there is a drawer for what device your using, and it automatically converts the file type.

I use handbreak to convert everything I need. Normally, my HD PVR records in a weiiirrrddd format. Nothing I've ever seen before. Handbreak recognizes it, and I can convert it to anything while keep the quality crisp and clean.

[-]Why don't you don't just directly copy the file to your Ipad?[/-] Oh wait, I forgot that Apple products need that special software called "iTunes" to be able to do anything. \

What you could try, however, is uploading your video file to some file sharing site, set the permissions to "private", and then download the file via the internet from your iPad.
Try that.

I recommend using handbrake in the way the lot above described. It's annoying when u can't get stuff to work :)

Download this free software called Free Video Converter. It has an option for iPod Touch 4G and worked fine for me.
