Over the past 6 years, our band has been through some of the most intense and incredible experiences of our lives. None of these things have been without trial. We've worked so hard to get to where we are and the fact that you are all still here with us says something about you that we will never be able to truly understand. You have stuck with us through thick and thin and we are so grateful. A couple of months ago, Josh and Zac let us know they would be leaving the band after our show in Orlando last Sunday. None of us were really shocked. For the last year it hasn't seemed as if they wanted to be around anymore. We want Josh and Zac to do something that makes them happy and if that isn't here with us, then we support them finding happiness elsewhere. But we never for a second thought about leaving any of this behind. We really hope that you can be encouraged by the fact that the three of us who are still here are ready to take on another chapter of our journey together. You have always been what keeps us going so why would we stop now? We want to stick by you. Knowing that we have a unified passion and a clear vision makes us feel stronger than ever.
The "blog" that was posted regarding everything that is going on with our band was a fake. We aren't sure who did it or why... And we aren't sure how they timed it this way. This is the first time that we have spoken out about what's going on and we wouldn't have released an official statement that important through a personal blog. So, we're sorry for any confusion and just to remain clear, this is the first time we have spoken out about this.
We have some amazing things lined up for next year starting with our tour in South America. We are still coming to you and we are excited about who we are bringing with us! The tour is still on and we can't wait to see you all.
As we look back, and now as we look with excitement to the future, in all of this what truly matters are the good times. The pictures of us with our arms around each other, the long van rides, your faces while you sing along as we play. Thank you for getting us right here to this very moment. We look forward to our best times. And we hope you will go there with us.
Love,
Hayley, Jeremy & Taylor

As long as Hayley is okay, then I'm okay.

They suck, I'm glad they broke up. It means kids have a chance to regain music greatness, before they get sucked into the vortex of soulless shit music, that wont last more than 2 or 3 years.

Can't say I'm heartbroken but kind of feel for their fans, you know? They're one of those bands who have a seriously dedicated following. Kind of surprised to hear they were manufactured like that, I have to say.
Oh god, another kid who thinks rap is real music.
Don't go there. Once that debate starts it never ends. :P

Also, Paramore sucks. That's my opinion, I'm not trolling. Any band causing this amount of drama deserves to fall apart. Music isn't about pussy fights between band members; if your band turns into that, you're done. Just look at The Beatles and Pink Floyd.

They did produce some real crap though over the years.

They're both in my top 5 favorite bands, but they knew they were done when their time together turned from making music to petty fights.

Oh god, another kid who makes assumptions on what we listen to. Greg listens to jam bands, progressive rock, psychedelic rock, etc.. And I bet you listen to shitty mainstream "rock" correct?
Anyway, back on topic, I honestly feel nothing on this subject. Just another band with members leaving, what's the big deal? Of course, all the Paramore junkies are probably crying over this. The band sucks anyway. The only reason people care is because of Hayley Williams' leaked tit pic.

Or because Hayley Williams is hot and can sing. Plus she's one of few artists who care about their fans.

Hayley Williams is shit compared to Beth Gibbons

And most artists want you to think they care about their fans. As Zappa would say, they're only in it for the money.

That's all the music industry is about nowadays: money. The record companies leech off of artists and consumers so they can buy more for themselves. Then they fool everyone into thinking it's "fair" and that the artists they push around "love" you.
It's all an act. Wake up.

Beth Gibbons not only has an amazing voice, but knows how to make her music different and interesting. And nice Zappa reference.

Vocals is just one part of paramore. They also have to have good instrumentation too. Which they don't, so that cancels out good vocals.

I like Paramore, but I'd like them more if they weren't so dramatic. I went to their concert and it was pretty awesome.

I'm pretty sure, Trey and Jerry, care(d) about more people, than Hayley Williams has fans.

This is quite old.
But still. </3</3</3</3
It was only Josh and Zac though, I mean hardly anyone knows their names.
If it was Hayley though, then the band would slowly but surely fall apart.
Half the Paramore "fans" only know Hayley.

I agree with the first bit, the band practically does revolve around her, but the second bit...

I'm serious. Those chords are so fucking un creative. Watch any of their videos, the bass guitar player and guitar player are barely moving their hands
Edit: I'm not saying just because a band uses only 3 chords they suck, but you have to be creative with it. (ie:Ramones, Clash, etc.)

I like Paramore, but in all honestly I don't really care, the other two guys whose names i've already forgotten will be replaced and the band will continue to publish more or less the exact same content that they have been; it's not like they were important or anything.

Not every band. One Ace Frehley and Peter Criss left KISS they've had 6 new members in and out and they're still going strong. Yeah, most fans prefer the original lineup but they're not, nor were they ever, "done".

Roger Waters said the same thing when he left Pink Floyd. "You'll never fucking do it", and we all know how that turned out. As mentioned already, KISS is a good example. When Peter Gabriel left Genesis in 1975, everyone thought that the band was done, but Phil Collins, the DRUMMER mind you, stepped up to fill the vocal lead. Not all bands are done when it comes to members leaving. It all depends on how they handle it.

I don't listen to the band but I recall a music blog I frequent reporting that this Hayley person (http://rockitoutblog.com/2010/12/23/ex-paramore-member-calls-out-hayley-williams/) is apparently quite a bitch, and it seems like a shame that everyone is dismissing the two people who left as expendable when to me it sounds like they started the band.

Yeeh they are blaming Hayley and the label for it all.
TBH if I was in Paramore, I suppose I would get kinda annoyed aswell after a while.
EDIT:
Josh & Zac's replacement's have been announced. :3

True, true, and you can add AC/DC to that list. However, Paramore's infighting seems to be much more publicized than usual (thanks to the Internet) and one could say most bands don't survive conflicts like this one. Yes, Pink Floyd was able to keep going for another 15 years after Waters left, but they never really returned to their former greatness. The Beatles completely collapsed when they started fighting, and The Who pretty much fell apart a few years after Keith Moon died. Queen's still together, but ever since Mercury died they haven't made anything new that's independent of him.
Even if a band does survive infighting, it's inevitable that there will be ripple effects that'll hamper their progress. As for Paramore, it looks like they'll continue on, but maybe this new lineup won't work and they'll fall apart as well.

I still think it is a shame that Zac and Josh left. They were a big part of the band, and they started it with Hayley. They will be missed. Also, to Pasalaqcua, I highly doubt that you even know what makes a chord creative, because if you actually watch their videos, the guitarists hands have great motion, not to mention the sounds, which are epic.
