Okay... when it comes to classes i like, such as digital design, web design, band, etc i have no issue doing the howework, at home study etc. I mean, thats all i want. I want to be a cop and run my own digital & web design business.

But when it comes to the important stuff (or so the school calls it... i dont see what it will do w/ my future) i have little to no motivation. I know i need to get it done, but i cant.
AP World History is my hardest subject to conquer. Reading entire chapters at a time, and answering review questions and writing long ass summaries. Its just so much.

I wish I could apply myself, but even when I try my mind wanders (Yeah, I have ADHD) and I turn to VT, or I find some extra paperwork for the agency I volunteer with just to occupy myself so I dont have to do the homework.

Help me VT. I'm tired of bad grades, im tired of my mom riding my back, im tired of my parents and family being disappointed in my grades. What do I do?

Hello, Ender. In all brutal honesty, I can say that i understand your pain. Your passion is clearly there; however, you also have to get the 'essentials' out of the way. How do you study? Do you sit down and try to complete everything in one sitting? As a Chemistry major, I tend to do that. I sit down and try to finish everything up. And from many mistakes, I have learned not to do that anymore. If you can, read the chapter, get some fresh air, and then continue working on answering questions/summaries.

I wish you the best. Here is this link that has helpful study tips.

Keep working hard!
