I'll only comment the drawing, as I'm not a photography expert by far :).
Anatomy: You can't avoid basics. You need to learn the base elements of the human figure, their volumes and relative proportions. Height proportions seem correct at first glance; however, width ones aren't. The shape of the various parts of the body are too schematic.
Folds: Different kind of clothes fold differently over the body, and those folds are usually very noticeable. That's something your picture doesn't really address.
Lined paper: Don't. Use. It. For. Drawing. Unless you have really nothing else at hand. Not only lines will disturb you and push you to make mistakes, but if you ever make a picture you find Great (with a big "g"), you'll regret to have it ruined by those stripes jailing it :). Use standard white printer/copy paper - its quality is usually good enough for pencils or inks.
If I had a single tip to give, it would be to take a picture of yourself in a pose similar to what you want to draw, then study what you see and try to reproduce it (a mirror or a friend also works for those without cameras :) ).
Hope this was helpful!
