Here in Ireland a tv comedy duo have been a great cause of public debate in recent weeks with their song "Horse Outside". The Rubberbandits have appeared on national talkshows and were just piped to the christmas number 1 spot by x-Factor winner Matt Cardle.
However, many Irish people have taken offence, particurally in the city the song is set in - Limerick, suggesting that it paints Ireland in a bad light. A well read UK newspaper suggested the song was refering to Irish people's reactions to the government's austerity budger suggesting that Irish people can no longer afford cars.
Personally I think it is a good laugh but have a listen and see for yourself.
(Song does contain strong language and sexual references)
