I have saved up enough money to buy Photoshop, but the program is really confusing. What's a good beginner tutorial website? I have some experience with Adobe Flash as well.
For some of you guys that have it, how did you start out?

Well, I've been playing around with pictures in Photoshop since I was like.. 10-11 years old or something?
And 99% of everything I know about it, I've learned myself. So I'm not much of a help. xD

Its a huge program. I bought "the missing manual", it helps a bit.

Yeah yeah yeah. But when you plan on doing things like this for a living, you have to buy it.

My friend who is older made money off a program he torrented, and the program's company sued him and he ended up losing money. (how they found out he stole it is a mystery)

I am a flash developer, and I wanted to learn photoshop because it definitely is useful for my type of work, and I can't take the easy way out. :P

My school offers ACA certification classes, and im loading up on those while i can. Those are usually expensive classes to take, but my school is giving us a chance to get them for free. I cant believe people are passing that up!

I learned from a summer program i went like in 7th grade. Usually any computer or engeniring program teaches you the basics.
