I've considered it. But all I'm going to say is that it's very difficult. I have friends going for Medicine, if you're in the UK at least, you're going to need a string of A* GCSE's, mixed with A's, B's and C's (especially in English, Maths & Science) and three A* at A-level in Biology, Chemistry and any subject you wish. I also reccomend you do voluntary work with either the police or health care services whilst you're doing your A-levels. You'll need a really good profile of yourself and your interest because medical colleges are really competitive to get into in this country.

At some point you'll have to pass the BMAT, but that's GCSE standard maths/English with some hard science and ethics mixed in (I've read a BMAT guide, so ya).

Good luck with it. I don't know what year you're in, but if you're expecting really good GCSE's, then keep working hard. You can get there if that's what you really want.
