Did VT go down today? (28/12/2010)

Tried to go onto VT today but it wouldnt load up your page? The site was out for a good few hours. I tried at 2:30pm and I've only just been able to load up the page?

I was on in the early morning when it was down. When I tried checking if there was any moderating I had to do before I went to sleep, the default page popped up and I tried it again. I said "meh" (literally) and then passed out while looking for skullcandy headphones. :P

we had no such announcement so people got worried

That would be why I didn't notice, I was out cold on my bed in my jeans with my face in a book. Literally.

Yes, VT went down today. After contacting our host this morning I was informed that the downtime was scheduled in advance to move us to a new server. Apparently I failed to receive the email letting us know in advance so I was as clueless as you all on what was going on. It's good to have it back and there shouldn't be any other issues.
