Anybody here into blues, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Moore, stuff like that? I mean, I like rock and all, but blues is the best! I mean, there's so much feeling in it! It can fit any mood. Just got dumped, play some blues, just got $1000, play some blues, don't feel anything at all, play some damned blues! It just will convey anything, and it is amazing for that.

It's my favorite thing to play on guitar mostly because the scales are easy and bending strings sounds amazing. Blues just flows I feel like I don't have to try. I love me some Ben Harper, Billie Holiday and Ida Goodson :)

Not completely blues imo, they are more reviving the classic 70s blues-rock/hard rock sound(like Zepplin). Nothing too revolutionary but great music.

Yeah... didn't Jimmy Page play with them for awhile?? I love the song Are You Gonna Be My Girl by Jet too... great Thorogood style riff.

Lead Belly all the way. Not sure if it really qualifies as blues though. Could be called folk.

As for the Black Keys, they're good but they sound exactly like the White Stripes. Not blues, I don't think.

I can't say that I really like the White Stripes, but Jack White is awesome. If anyone's ever seen It Might Get Loud he is really a slide/blues guitarist at heart. It's amazing how much he fits in with Jimmy Page and The Edge.

Oh definitely. I wasn't saying that they were bad, just that it wasn't really blues music. But in a way, that really sums it up. He's a rock musician with heavy blues influences.
