I'm pretty comfortable with it- there are pros to it too- just like anything else, it's not all a cut and dry good vs. bad issue. Though I'm glad that if I had to have it done, that it was done when I was a baby. If I had a choice in the matter, idk- I still might go ahead and have it done if there were problems, but obviously I'd be a bit more hesitant to want it lol.

However, I do think that it should be performed less often- one of the main reasons parents decide to have it done is because it's considered "normal" in most of the US. That's not a good enough reason in my opinion. Such a decision should be reached on either religious (such as with Jews or Muslims) or medical grounds. Otherwise, leave it alone.
