How to ask?

Well, theres this girl that I really, really, want to go out with, but I'm pretty shy so I don't really know how to ask. I mean, I'm fairly good friends with her, so I don't think she would take it too bad if she didn't want to, but I just don't know. I tried to ask her out before, but she ended up having a boyfriend that I didn't know about. I definitely know that I want to go out with her, but I just don't really know how to ask in a casual way. Thanks for any help!

Edit: Just thought this thread was ironic because a week after I posted it I asked out my girlfriend Bri who I've been going out with for 4 months. Soooo... I'd like to thank Vikki for the advice but I'm glad I never really took it :D lol

Flirt first ,,
then make sure your alone and say
'You look really pritty today ' and smile
look her in her eyes and smile looking shy and smile
then ask her question 'do you like anyone?'
if she looks at you and asks for you to say first
then tell her :) dont justt ask her out infront of her friends because if she turns you down then her friends will get bitchy :/ haha Good Luck :D hoep it all goes well :DDx
