Haven't seen friend in years...

This may come out wierd, but I'll try my best.....

So I have this friend who I haven't seen in about 4 or 5 years. I asked for his mom's email address from my mom. I have it. But I'm not sure how to say how I'd like to see him again. The term "playdate" is.........strange in my opinion.
I mean, just emailing his mom and saying "Hey, do you mind if I head over to your house and see Glenn again? Thanks."
My mom also told me that Glenn's mom almost never answers her email. Her address may also have changed by now. How do I do this? I'd really like to see him again, he was a great friend.

idk what to say to this honestly i was in a situation like this sorta a good friend of mine moved in fourth grade to utah but we heard nothing from her after that and we finally found her on facebook and got reconnected that way maybe see if this friend has facebook and add them
