Idk if this goes here but I wondered on methods of how to do so. My friend and I might start doing covers and I have to hit some pretty high notes. I can only do it in falsetto right now which sounds retarded.

I have a similar problem since I'm naturally a bass/baritone.
What you can do is do vocal warmups (scales and arpeggios), but in falsetto - falsetto naturally strengthens the vocal mechanism, and with time it will help you get a few higher notes. What especially helps is going as low as you can in falsetto.
When it comes time to sing, if you need to do the high notes in falsetto, try putting a lot of air behind the falsetto. See, men's falsetto usually sounds floppy and weak. Don't use your breath that way. Make it as solid and consistent as possible - that will help the sound.
Also consider changing the key. This can make a HUGE difference in your ability to sing the song - since it's intended for you, there's really no reason to sing it in the original key.
That's as much advice as I can give over the net without hearing you lol.

First of all dont push your voice too hard too soon, it takes time for a broken voice to settle and if you try to push it beyond its capabilities you can do lasting damage. Most people can extend their vocal range to some extent with regular scales and exercises. This needs to be taken gradually, aim for one semitone (of additional range) at a time, think of it as a long job, not an overnight solution. There will come a limit though, and beyond that you just have to choose songs within your range or transpose the song to a lower key.
