I started Puberty at 10 and i too have hair on my penis (at the base of it)....so i guess it is true :)

no it doesnt as people enter puberty at different stages so some guys will have penis hair and some will have facial hair when they first start to enter puberty

Yes - it means your IN puberty, not that you're far into puberty.

Everybody going through puberty gets things at different times. Your friends may get taller than you but you have more body hair - then they finally get body hair. Or your voice takes 3 years to finally drop while theirs cracks in the 8th or 9th grade.

In addition, I've read that the first signs of puberty are usually penis/testicle growth, and body hair - but that doesn't mean it all comes in at once. Your penis takes years to grow, and you may have armpit hair at first, but then develop chest hair like 2 years later.

Puberty is not clearly defined. That's why I don't appreciate "stages of puberty" - you don't follow a track to adulthood as far as body development. Your body follows its own path!

BonJoviFan is right. Pubic hair can be the first thing that happens to you during puberty.

Completely normal.
You're only 13 years old, you are only just in the beginning of puberty, and you still got a lot of growing to do. Everyone develops differently and at different times.

Not really. Puberty takes different courses for everyone - some will get hair on the penises early, some later in puberty and some perhaps not at all. There is no one real indication.
