Admitted i have a problem

Ok so tonight i finally told my mum im addicted to self harm,
It was hard.. And i did it via email then she came in and talked to me
i asked her if i could go to the doctors and she kept telling me that im fine and that she thinks its just hormones.. But i told her it was more than that.
Its an addiction, anyway after alot of pursuading (i dont know why she cant accept there is something wrong with me) but yes she finally agreed to take me to the doctors.

Congratulations :) A lot of people don't have the strength to ask for help but you definitely do and you've done a great thing. It's also nice that your mom was able to accept that you have a problem and need help. I hope you get the help you need and again, congrats!
