has anyone that is a christianity supporter ever actuallly read the bible front to back? i dont think any one should be allowed to comment on a religion unless they read their "holy scriptures"

so anyone read the bible lately? im on genisis 35 i think.

never read any of it. Except maybe a few short bits when i was little. My family arent religious but when i was young i was a christian cos i diden't know the other options. Never went to church though. Im agnostic (i think thats right) now

i did, i used to go to 'sunday school'..basically a school for 3hrs in church learnign bout christianity....

yep i read the bible and a very good book it is.
however do u ever notice god seems very angry back in the old testemant and very loving in the new.
oh and read Leviticus 18 it tells of forbidden sexual practices

I've read a good portion of the bible and 3 diffrent text books, I've passed religon 15 and 25 in the 80's i'm on RS35 now. Comnplete load of crap but its mandontory and it gives me 15 credits

people read into thing differently... i do believe many poeple take the bible waaaaayayyyy to littereally... god gave us choice he gave us thoughts some thoughts we cant control... you get my point...

eh, you hear the mos timportant stuff once a year at church, get the basic message, only people who are really heavily religious bother to read the whole thing, too i unno it just rags on too much, i prefer reading the fantasy works of R.A.Salvatore in my spare time.

I agree... you dont even have to believe in god you dont have to be a christian... the bible says some good stuff... its all about lvoe and understanding and keeping the peace! We need more books like this one!
