My family has disgraced me and made me feel worthless, my mother burst into laughter when i recited th rede, when i told my dad to stop eating before i recited he glared at me and continued to eat, my brother proceeded to mock wicca and the rede. and then when i defended myself they gave me an excuse that it was "all out of fun" and i told them that yule is basically for me a prayer day. and yet i was mocked for not believing in there methodist views.
for those of you who have no clue what im talking about: im a wiccan.

I think you ought to come to an agreement where you don't push your religion on them and ask that they don't either. It's not something people tend to be willing to change for others however close they may be.

I can see why you're pissed off at them, and i don't blame you. Though, you can't get too worked up over it because people will continue to do it as they see that it is affecting you, it's what people do - even if they are family. You believe what you believe and they believe what they believe, you can't change their views and they can't change yours, sure it's not ideal and it's not what you want to do, but you may need to cite the rede privately that way no one can upset you and no one can tell you what to do.

we live in a rather tight knit house (the house is 2 story but the rooms are really close together.) so no matter where i am something interrupts me.

Don't expect them to believe in your views too, just keep yor head up and reiterate your beliefs and if they choose to ridicule, don't express those types of behaviors around them. (Keep in mind I'm extremely ignorant on Wiccan)

Hmmm, in that case I would most likely ignore them. Don't try to be someone that your not just to be able to avoid conflictions. That'd be my advice.

Ok... A few things;
First; Dont shove it down their throats. Unless you wanna deepthroat their religion, dont make them do it for you.
Second, Why does their opinion matter to you about your belief? Yes, they're disrespecting your beliefs, but arent you doing them the same by making them view it? Wicca isnt flashy or all "special". Its believing in Love, Trust, Faith and believing. Just remember, everyone is special, in their own ways. Dont fight a losing battle if you cannot win, merely turn and walk away, even while people will call you various names.

I hate when people have to make fun of our Religion! Yes I am Pagan. The Rede is not laughing matter at all! it speaks the truth! "In Perfect Love and Perfect Trust" and "An ye harm none, do what ye will". Those are the words I live by and Christians should open their ears and listen to what we have to say.
Blessings to you my friend and hope all goes well!

I think it was really rude for them to mock and laugh at your religious views, but I don't think you should try to push it on them. They most likely won't change their religion, and you shouldn't try to make them.
I understand you were just trying to make them understand, though. So if I were you I would tell them to not push their religious views at you, and you won't to them. You can still be a family and get along even if you don't share the same views. :)
