Circumcised at an older age

When your circumcised at an older age, do they numb your penis during the surgery? Do they make you go sleepy? And after the surgery does it hurt much? (can you fap or have sex after surgery? if no then how long should you wait?)

Just my questions if anybody know the answer to.

Sup dude... Umm depends. If it's a coming of age ritual you're going to feel everything. But since it probably isn't, yeah they'll give you anesthetic so you don't feel the actual operation. If you are brave they'll probably just give you a couple of shots in your dick to numb the pain, otherwise the other option is to put you completely asleep which is what I had. Umm doc said no flapping for 3 weeks but I was able to do it carefully after 2. As for pain, it wasn't that bad, they gave me a perscription but I only used it for about a day after. Still not exactly what I'd call fun

I don't know of any places where you would have no anesthesia at all - besides places that were unable to provide it. Even circumcision done for religious reasons uses it. I have a lot of friends who were done when they were between 11-13. I know they didn't jerk immediately afterwards and they said it was painful - but not the worst pain ever or anything.

Yeah though in Africa it's sometimes a coming of age ritual when you turn around 13 and you don't get anything to numb the pain. I also know that in some Muslim countries it's done around 10, often without painkillers as well.

I'd certainly imagine it would hurt , but they would numb it and everything. I mean, they are cutting a part of your penis off so how wouldn't it hurt? I'm cut and really wish I was uncircumsized. Why would you want to get circumsized now?

Some people get circumcised at an older age because of personal preference, but people also get it done for medical reasons.

It's your opinion if it's worth doing. A lot of people say no - why do it when it will hurt? Personally, I'm still deciding, but realize you can never go back (or at least, it'll be like honestly? doing it and then being like "jk"?)
