Wow this is just sick, how can this kind of barbarity be possible in our society.

Now I am sure you are wondering why this is in the debate forum.
This is also to discuss why this shit can happen there was a similar case where a black guy beat the shit out of a white guy almost killing him while he was walking down the street because of "slavery".
Why is all this racial tension going on.
Is it lack of education IE gangster hates white people by misconceptions about slavery.
Or what about religious tensions, IE Muslim guy drives car through Jewish neighborhood mowing them down. Or Muslim guy goes on shooting spree killing Jewish women.

Also is all this racial tension just in the US or is it elsewhere in the world

I am going to apologize to all black people on this forum before I say this, though I doubt that anyone on this forum who's black falls under this category.

I think nowadays, white people aren't holding back African Americans, it's SOME black people who somehow have the impression that all white people hate them, so they go through life not trying to succeed because they somehow think that the white people will just kill their chances anyway, plus they also are prematurely racist to white people who aren't even racist themselves.

I might have just offended someone, so I'm sorry, but that's how it is in my mind. Plus, I swear, I am NOT racist myself.

Well, I am black, and im kinda offended by that. I agree and disagree with your statement. First of all, I agree because i think ur right: some black people have the idea that all white people are extremely racist, when in reality thats not the absolute truth. On the other hand though, there are many racist whites out there. I have experienced racism a lot (im not one of those black people who goes around looking for racist people so i can complain, i have lots of white friends) and I know that there are some satanic, evil people out there. I just think if all white people and all black people were more racially educated, then that would tone down racism by a lot.

Racism is in a different form nowadays. It used to be plain old Whites>Blacks. Now its more inconspicous. Many, if not most white people think that most blacks are ghetto, gangster, uncouth, low class, impolite, etc. Now, this is just the systems fault. because of the way things USED to be, thngs will take many, many years to change. there were poor black people in the 50's and 60's, they were given "equal" oppurtunities, but because of their lack of money, they couldnt get proper educations, so they were stuck with the same old jobs, earning less than good wages. thus continuing the cycle. its hard not to stereotype black people, most people just assume they are ghetto. They dont think they are any lower as a person, or have anyless rights. But just think of mostblacks as ghetto and rude.

Is it just me or education except college doesn't cost money. Back then you didn't really need a degree anyway.

Not to be stereotypical or anything but why is 80% of the prison population black and almost all gangs in bad inner citys black? I would know I used to live in one.

I think racism between blacks and whites has died down a lot after the Civil Rights movement, IMO. I went out this weekend with some friends, one of whom was black! I think now, though, racial hate is growing between Arabs and whites. I guess some blacks and hispanics might hate Arabs too.
