now im not one of those people who only listens to christian rock/rap, but its pretty good. i think people have this stereotype that its bad because the topics they can speak about are limited. but thats not true. theres some real good music out there. and ya you can still like your weezy, U2, ACDC, drake and still enjoy christian music. some of my favorites:

gritz is christian. hes pretty good. never heard of anyone call POD as christian, but they are also good.

family force 5 was once christian, ive been told, but now they aren't that much. they are still clean and all just not doing music about God. but they are a very entertaining bunch.

As a general rule, I don't like Christian music. I just don't. I haven't found one artist/band that is good in the "Christian" genre.

If I were God, I'd listen to this all day long. Nothing better than music about how awesome you are. But, I am not God. Never liked the genre much and didn't find anything I liked.

I tend to not like songs that come right out and say "God is awesome," but I like songs that can be interpreted in different ways. Songs that are Christian but don't have to be seen as Christian, if that makes sense. My favorite semi Christian (and favorite band overall) is Switchfoot. And I also like NeedToBreathe. They're not all out there Christian, but they're the kind of Christian I like.

I don't like "Christian Rock", but I do like this certain band named "Callisto" who's lyrics reference allot to Christianity. They aren't for or against it, they just kind of use the references behind it.

I agree with the message of Christian music, and I play quite a bit of on the worship team at my church, but I really think that it lacks originality. I mean, there are exceptions, take Lincoln Brewster for example. We did a song called "Let Your Glory Shine" or something like that, and it had such a hard guitar part that we had to change it up a bit. Normally though, I think it all sounds the same.
