I haven't posted in here in a LOOOONNGG time.
This isn't my best poem, but I wrote it in 10 minutes.
Inspired by a friend that asked me for help on an English assignment.
Needs revising/editing.

What I hate the most
is that gay's can't fight.
Since when does war
decide wrong from right?

Bomb shells blast
from up above
but they cast aside
when it comes to love.

It's not black and white
like a white-tie affair.
Love is beautiful,
like rainbows in the air.

They're discriminated against
because their love isn't "right".
They're shunned upon,
put down on sight.

This world is proving,
that love is an ability.
Not all can do it,
open their eyes to reality.

It's not black and white
like a white-tie affair.
Love is beautiful,
like rainbows in the air.

Their hearts beat alike,
such as yours and mine.
If you were gay, then
you would want it to be fine.

What's beautiful about it,
is that they don't need sex.
They're happy as is,
considered as rejects.

It's not black and white
like a white-tie affair.
Love is beautiful,
like rainbows in the air.

What's even more unfair
is that gays can't marry.
Sexual Orientation, discrimination,
that's what's hated most by me.

I thought it was ok. I like the imagery you used, it was superb.
