View Full Version : What would happen if people refuse to acknowledge tragedies?

I am wondering; around the world people have physical reminders of tragedies such as death, terrorism, genocide, and etc. But what if people decided that such tragedies are too painful to think about and refused to acknowledge them? What if a person was so hurt by losing a loved one that they just decide to act as though the person never existed?

I am asking this as research for a script.

Don't take research from the net. I can only guess what would happen, we would never learn from tragedies so they would keep happening. Losing a loved one and then pretending they had never existed. A world of denial and lies (worse than we have now).
