Worms

i know this is wierd but i have worms. theyre called pinworms they don't hurt they just agrivate me alot in the evening. I have to go to the bathroom and pick them out of my butt. Its really gross but i don't know if they will kill me? if you know anything please HELP!! i don't want to tell my parents b/c im scared so PLEASE HELP!

hm.. go to the doctors.. only thing i've heard about worms in your body.. is that they go to your foot then start making a cut in your foot then doctors need to take the worm out.. it takes like 5-8 hours for the worm to get out.. and the guy on the show said it's almost as painfull as giving birth.. but i'm sure i'm wrong about that.. just go to the doctor and ask him what's up with the worms and it'll be all fine..hoefully

You're fine, trust me, you just ingested the eggs via dirt under your fingernails or something. I got those a few times when I was a grimy little kid, the doctor just gives you and your family some pills, because you can spread them, and the worms die and come out in your feces. Just wash your hands well if you yourself there, I know they're irritating.

P.S. You guys give awful advice on matters like this, look it up before you reply, you probably scared the hell out of her.

Well sorry, but you would think that living, organisms inside your body such as WORMS would not be a good thing. And she does need to see a doctor, whether it is bad or not, so seeing a doctor is good advice. And you never know, it could be bad, lets leave that up to the professionals.

popo93 omg you give bad advice.. they could be harmfull.. i remembered the tv show's logo thingy.. it was discovery channel or teacher learning channel.. i forgot which or maybe it was animal planet.. worms inside your body can KILL you.. if they can go through your skin they can easily go through your arteries than poke a hole in your heart.. go to the f'ing doctor and get that CHECKED OUT.. on the good side.. they could be harmless but still go to the doctors

hey hun i suggest just goin to your doctor and he will perscribe you a table that you and your family take and that will be the end of it, from what you have describe it doesnt sound nething serious, so i wouldnt b worried, worms are a very common thing in actual fat, and your parents wont mind they need to no incase they or your siblings hav causght them, its no big deal hun by the sound of it, reli just have a quick chat with your mom you can even get the tablet over the counter at your pharamsist, hope that helps cya hun xoxox

I used to have pinworms when I was 12. Lol. They are harmless. The just eat the food that u eat. whatever slides down they eat part of it. I just went 2 wal-mart with my mom and got some non-prescription meds. Within 3 days they were gone. p.s. the meds were a drinkable kind. The worms live throughout ur digestive track and the medicine kills them. Dont worry.:)

By family problems do you mean finances? That is understandable but I believe there are free clinics, and like someone else said you can get OTC stuff at a conience store.

And you dont have to tell your brother, just take your mom, or dad, aside and let them know whats going on.
